Incognito Software Systems, a leading global provider of broadband service orchestration, device management, and network intelligence solutions for service providers, today announced the world’s largest deployment of the Broadband Forum's TR-369 User Services Platform (USP) standard for connected home and device management. This milestone deployment, which currently covers over five million devices across a leading North American service provider’s 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) network, provides next-generation device and service management tools to optimize network performance and drive the rollout of new services.

As home Wi-Fi networks become increasingly complex, the deployment of Incognito’s TR-369 USP solution enhances the performance of connected home environments with always-on communication, a distributed architecture, and bulk data collection capabilities. As part of Incognito’s award-winning Digital Experience (DX) Solution, its USP controller provides a powerful platform to monitor and manage multi-vendor customer premise equipment (CPE) and connected home services. With real-time network data collection, the ability to deploy services directly on CPEs using virtualized containers, and improved mobile RAN KPI analytics, it helps reduce network congestion, proactively maintain service quality, and generate new market opportunities.

"As a leader in the TR-369 standard since introducing it into our DX Solution over five years ago, Incognito is proud to partner with leading operators worldwide to deploy a platform that not only meets today's needs but also sets a foundation for future innovations," said Gary Knee, CEO at Incognito. "Our work around USP underscores the commitment to delivering enhanced connectivity and value-added services to customers."

The Broadband Forum’s latest Connected Home Survey Report reveals a growing trend among global providers toward adopting the TR-369 USP standard. According to the findings, 85% of operators have either already implemented the USP standard or intend to do so in the coming months. A critical factor contributing to this momentum is USP being seen as an essential tool for optimizing Wi-Fi performance and introducing new broadband value-added services.

“This significant USP deployment from Incognito exemplifies the growing global adoption of TR-369 (USP),” said Craig Thomas, CEO of the Broadband Forum. “Utilizing an industry-wide recognized standard and adding the vendor innovation to make a deployable solution that enhances service providers operations and, most importantly, the subscriber experience is the perfect storm for TR-369 and any global standards adoption.”
