Edgecore Networks, a global leader in open networking solutions, proudly announces the launch of the CSR430 and AGR560, offering an open approach to the high performance routing needs of telecom. The CSR430 cell site gateway and the AGR560 400GbE aggregation router are designed to meet the growing demands of modern telecom deployments and their back-end data center infrastructures.

The CSR430, a cutting-edge cell site router, supporting LTE and 5G mobile xHaul networks. With temperature-hardened designs and high-density ports (20 x 25G and 4 x 100G), the CSR430 ensures leadership performance in the most challenging environments. It incorporates advanced features like precise timing synchronization, eCPRI fronthaul capabilities, and advanced telemetry to address the scalability demands of mobile operators rolling-out 5G.

CSR430 Key Features for Next-Generation Telecom Applications

  • Optimal maintenance design: Front access for simplified and efficient servicing
  • Reliable performance: Temperature-hardened for durability in challenging conditions
  • Space-efficient: Compact dimensions designed to fit seamlessly into ETSI racks
  • Future-ready connectivity: Advanced support for eCPRI, TSN, and SRv6 protocols
  • Precise synchronization: Built-in GNSS for accurate timing, essential for telecom and 5G deployments

The AGR560 is a high-performance 100GbE to 400GbE aggregation router with a total switching capacity of 7.2 Tbps, built upon the Broadcom StrataDNX™ Jericho2c+ chipset. It features 12 x 400G QSFP-DD (23 W) and 24 x 100G QSFP28 (6.5 W) network interfaces within a 2RU compact design, enabling scalable, reliable and high-performance networking. This standalone router supports critical applications such as aggregation, provider edge routing, and data center switching. It also includes Synchronous Ethernet, IEEE 1588v2 PTP, and carrier-grade reliability to meet the demands of modern telecom and their data center infrastructures.

AGR560 Key Features for Telecom and Data Centers

  • High-performance scalability: Supports 100GbE to 400GbE applications with carrier-grade reliability
  • Advanced hardware integration: Powered by Broadcom StrataDNX™ Jericho2c+ with dual TCAM for line rate search and optimal scalability
  • Enhanced operational efficiency: Features front-to-back airflow SKUs, 1+1 redundant DC/AC-DC PSUs, and hot-swappable, load-sharing components
  • Precision timing support: Compliant with SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 PTP standards
  • Robust design: design to meet NEBS Lv.3 with hot-swappable redundant FRUs
