  • AI for RCM (Revenue Cycle Management): eClinicalWorks introduced AI-driven RCM solutions aimed at streamlining the end-to-end billing process for healthcare practices and replacing RCM as a service.
    • AI-powered insurance eligibility response and conversion of EOBs to ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) drive efficiencies in front-office and back-office operations, bringing significant time-savings for practices.
    • AI is revolutionizing the appeals process and reducing the administrative burden by fully automating the generation of appeal letters, which is streamlining a once manual and time-consuming task. AI speeds up the appeals process, improves accuracy and consistency, and helps organizations handle denials more efficiently.
    • The deep search function enables users to quickly find the information they need in claims, accounts collections, and payments.
    • With AI analytics, users can generate interactive dashboards with natural language conversations with the AI-powered analytics engine.
  • healow Genie: A comprehensive and first-of-its-kind, fully EHR-integrated AI-powered contact center solution that connects patients with the information and assistance they need, when they need it via voice call, text, or chatbot, with 24/7/365 support. Genie offers self-service options in natural language to answer patients' common questions and uses AI to manage appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and more. Genie is always available, offering after-hours support by creating transcripts of medical calls for next-day provider follow-up. Genie strengthens patient engagement, improves patient satisfaction, reduces burdens on staff, and lowers operational costs.
  • AI for Value-Based Care (VBC): Leveraging AI, providers now have access to value-based scorecards to measure their progress in meeting their VBC goals, bringing quality, risk, coding, and cost of care in one panel. It’s driven by the eClinicalWorks CIPHER tool that can process information from payers and EHRs through CommonWell and Carequality.
  • Patient Experience: eClinicalWorks and healow announced several innovations to enhance the patient experience, improving the intake process to expedite the check-in process, enhancements to the AI-powered model that reduces no-shows and notifies patients of available appointments, card-on-file capabilities, and insurance eligibility checks.
  • Sunoh.ai: Sunoh.ai, the revolutionary AI medical scribe, now supports English, Portuguese, and Spanish, as part of the multilingual feature, ultimately reducing physician burnout and improving patient care. In addition to these three languages, support for several other languages is also in progress. Additionally, with Sunoh.ai queues, the AI scribe can queue up relevant questions for providers during the patient encounter.

“After 25 years, our mission remains true and simple: improve healthcare together. We are committed to transforming the healthcare industry with cutting-edge AI-driven technology with a patient-centric approach,” said Girish Navani, CEO and cofounder of eClinicalWorks. “We believe that by working together and leveraging these groundbreaking AI enhancements, we can improve patient outcomes, reduce physician burnout, and transform the patient experience.”

Last year, eClinicalWorks introduced a series of AI functionalities, making it the first AI-driven EHR. The integration of various AI technologies, such as Generative AI, Image AI for fax inbox, Sunoh.ai AI medical scribe, AI for RPA, AI Assistant for PRISMA, and the healow AI-powered no-show prediction model, have transformed patient care across small and large healthcare practices nationwide.
