ECS IN TOP FIVE IN CONTRACT OBLIGATIONS FOR FEDERAL AI/ML IN 2024 DELTEK AI REPORT

Company recognized as one of the largest prime contractors for federal AI solutions

ECS, an IT systems integrator focused on data and AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation solutions, and an ASGN (NYSE: ASGN) brand, is in the top five in contract obligations for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) solutions to the federal government in Deltek’s Federal Artificial Intelligence (AI) Market, 2024-2028 report. Produced annually by GovWin’s federal market analysis team, the report examines the adoption of AI, ML, and related technologies within the federal government.

This marks the third time ECS was in the top 5 in AI/ML contract obligations in Deltek’s report. ECS has a longstanding history of providing data and AI/ML mission solutions across the federal government, as well as rapidly validating and fielding AI models to support a range of Department of Defense (DoD) mission activities. The company is also responsible for maintaining some of the largest AI environments available to the DoD.

Related notable findings from the Deltek Federal Big Data Market, 2023-2027 report and the Deltek Defense and Intel IT Market, 2022-2024 report include:

  • ECS ranked second in contract obligations for “Defense Agencies, Big Data Dashboard” for fiscal years 2020-2022.
  • ECS ranked fourth in contract obligations for “Justice Agencies, Big Data Dashboard” for fiscal years 2020-2022.
  • ECS ranked fourth in contract obligations for “Defense, Big Data” for fiscal years 2019-2021.

“We’re proud to support the federal government in making strategic, long-term investments in responsible AI development,” said Marshall Thames, senior vice president of Technology and Innovation at ECS. “This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to providing mission-critical AI solutions that meet the evolving needs of government.”

“As AI adoption accelerates across the federal landscape, agencies will encounter hurdles related to data integrity, transparency, security, and governance,” said John Heneghan, president of ECS. “As a leading provider federal AI/ML, ECS draws on its extensive experience to help agencies navigate these complexities and transform into AI-capable organizations.”
