Benefitfocus, one of the leading benefits administration providers in the industry, announced today the launch of its Care Partner Panel, a new approach to digital health-solution management for employers and their workforces. As a differentiated market offering, Care Partner Panel will provide human resource and benefits administrators with a diverse selection of vetted digital health-solution offerings that address specialized health needs for specific groups of employees. By providing a carefully curated selection of solutions, Care Partner Panel supports the evolving health needs of today’s workforce while helping reduce the administrative challenges many employers face in digital health-solution management.

“We understand the value that digital health solutions can offer employers and employees. However, when it comes to the overall management of these important solutions, the health care marketplace continues to be inundated with an increasing number of providers, which creates contracting and selection challenges for employers,” said Chad Cruse, vice president, Benefit Catalog at Benefitfocus. “At Benefitfocus, we are determined to simplify and streamline benefits administration, and the launch of Care Partner Panel does just that by addressing a critical employer need. And, as a leader in benefits administration, we have the scale and capabilities to help solve this need while at the same time creating opportunity for greater access, engagement and overall health outcomes for employees.”

In addition to contracting and implementation challenges many companies face when sourcing digital health solutions, once solutions are introduced to their workforces, many employers encounter low engagement rates among employees who may struggle to understand when, where and how to use them effectively. To support both employers and employees, Care Partner Panel will seamlessly integrate into the Benefitfocus Benefitplace™ employee experience, offering a multichannel engagement approach to personalize the delivery of solutions for panel members. Benefitfocus customers who also use the company’s health care data analytics solution, Health Insights, will have the ability to utilize data analysis, technology and expertise to further optimize the impact and return on investment for an employer’s overall benefits strategy.

“By offering a single platform to simplify employee benefits enrollment, communications and administrative tasks, Benefitfocus has the ability to bring together technology and a culture of service excellence to make the process of health care plan selection and enrollment easier for employers and employees,” added Cruse. “We’re excited to offer our new Care Partner Panel solution to provide tools employees can use to enable better health and financial well-being, providing a more efficient, impactful approach to overall health care management.”

To launch Care Partner Panel, Benefitfocus is collaborating with industry-leading providers to offer a variety of health care solutions. While the panel will continue to evolve, the initial providers include:
